New Coffee Offers Boosts, Not Booze
February 18, 2005
By Paul Tharp - New York Post
NEW YORK, NY - As Starbucks launched its new liqueur that could dull senses, rival JavaFit® rolled out coffee blends to boost them - including clarity, workouts and sex.
Starbucks’ new 750 ml. bottle of Starbucks Coffee Liquor will sell for about $22.95 in liquor and specialty stores, but won’t be sold in any of its 9,000 coffee shops. One-liter and pocketbook-sized 50 ml bottles are also available.
JavaFit®’s coffees, spiked with natural ingredients, are rolling out across the U.S., Canada and Mexico for the first time in a global distribution pact with True North Nutrition.
